I want to share something really simple (but powerful) with you.

It's a little reminder that has saved my butt and helped me truly focus, time and time again.

This reminder has helped me with the big-picture stuff (juggling multiple projects and priorities) ...

Super simple, right? Here's why it's so powerful.

This Russian proverb helps you easily visualize the pitfalls of trying to do too many things at once.

Try it right now and see how it works.

Close your eyes and picture yourself trying to run after two rabbits running in different directions.

Pretty fruitless, huh?

Now take a minute to think about this concept in your life today.

  • Are you trying to chase "two rabbits" right now? Or is it more like three ... or 10?
  • Are you spreading yourself too thin?
  • Are you saying yes too often and overextending yourself?

I'm guessing the answer is probably a big, fat yes (as it often is for me) ... and that's OK.

Take a moment right now to pause ...

What's your most important task (your MIT)? The one that's going to make the biggest impact on your day. It's probably the one you don't want to be doing but know you should be.

Can you focus on that right now?

Can you chase just one "rabbit"? Even if it's only for a few minutes.
